Revel in Beauty 2020 is Rescheduled to a date to be announced soon.

Dear Beauty Professionals,

We realize too well that this has been a trying time for us all. Together with our site provider (the MTCC), we have been reviewing recommendations from Federal, Provincial and Municipal authorities and communicating with our Exhibitors, Demonstrators, Educators, Speakers, Competitors and Attendees regarding COVID-19. As a result, the Allied Beauty Association has made the decision to postpone Revel in Beauty originally scheduled to be held on April 5th and 6th 2020, to a date still to be announced.

We at Allied Beauty Association take everyone’s health and safety seriously, so we have built a list of Canadian Federal and Provincial official sites where you can get the best information possible about the corona virus HERE.

We will also be sharing via our email-blasts, blog and social media platforms some very important guidelines and information on how to protect and prepare yourself, your employees, your clientele and your families.

Our current venue, the MTCC, is a very busy convention center; we are currently discussing future availabilities as well as studying alternative venues for Fall 2020 or Early 2021 date

Why are you looking at Fall 2020 and Early 2021?

  • First, there are so far no suitable dates available in the Fall of 2020 at the MTCC.
  • Secondly, with all the events being postponed, Fall 2020 is at risk of being over scheduled, forcing brands and attendees to make the difficult choice of what show to support, assuming that COVID-19 is under control at that time.

I bought a ticket – will I be reimbursed?

  • Your ticket(s) will be reimbursed by our ticketing company during the week of March 23rd, 2020 to the card used to purchase the ticket(s). It may take up to 10 business days to reflect on your card depending on your bank.
  • In recognition of your support, you will be issued a 50% discount code for the purchase of an ABA Professional Membership. Code will be sent to the ticket purchasers email on March 30th, 2020.

I booked plane tickets what do I do now?

  • Most North American airlines have modified their cancellation and refund policies to meet the issues caused by the current situation; use this letter to substantiate your request for a refund/credit note to your account.

I have booked a hotel room, what do I do now?

  • Our partner hotels have all been informed of the postponement of our event. Please contact the hotel directly and cancel your reservation as soon as possible. Fees may apply depending upon your personal arrangements. If you have booked with other hotels, online booking sites or Airbnb we recommend that you request a cancellation as quickly as possible and that you use this letter to substantiate your claim; note that certain fees may apply.

As this situation has evolved swiftly and has a multitude of ramifications; we will issue more information to all and reply to emails only next week. Wishing everyone a great week-end. Stay healthy, stay safe.
